Talismans is a "herd" or "flock" of computers hanging inverted from the ceiling. Each has sound and imagery unique to the content of that talisman in addition to a common binary chant.
Each computer is an 40 year old Mac Plus/SE that has been rewired and reassembled. The Talismans hang from manila rope which is bound with jute twine. Jute twine also binds the feathers, 256k memory chips and stoneware hanging from each talisman.
