The Oracle is an industrial repository of writings and imagery from a techno/industrial age. The audio consist of deep, echoing drum beats, drawn breaths and other synthesized sounds.

The work consists of 3 steel drums. The horizontal drum contains speakers and is used to reverberate the sound. The Large vertical drum contains the imagery beneath approximately 10" of water.

All oracles require a sacrifice. And, like all of the work in this series, the interaction is part of the installation. In this case, the installation is activated only when the viewer/participant disturbs the water. There is no towel.
