"Embedded in every tool is an ideological bias or a predisposition to construct the world as one thing rather than another." (Niel Postman, Technopoly, the Surrender of Culture to Technology,) Our technology functions as it does because of who we are and, ultimately, our cultural becomes the operating system for this technology.

The recontextualized current and prehistoric images and symbols in the series Instinctive Technology explore the relationship of our cultural and technological heritage. This work is a direct reference to the human experience of becoming a part of a visual history much like the ancients returning to a single place to add imagery to that of their ancestors.
